  • Hello Dave,

    You can add the "Menu" text directly in the module layout in the default.php file. Depends which mobile menu you are using you need to add the text in the mobile menu open link just after the icon.

    <a href="#" class="dj-mobile-open-btn" aria-label="<?php echo JText::_('MOD_DJMEGAMENU_OPEN_MENU_BTN'); ?>">
    <span class="fa fa-bars" aria-hidden="true"></span> MENU</a>
    After that you need also to add following css to your template

    .dj-mobile-open-btn {
    display: inline-block !important; /* optional */
    width: auto !important;
    }
    I hope it's useful.

  • Hi Szymon, I actually realized that having the menu button say Menu vs the hamburger is better. Can that be done as well?

    Thanks
  • Hi Dave,

    if you mean to have only "Menu" without the menu bars icon then you just need to remove the icon from the markup. In the same file where you add the "Menu" text delete the icon from mobile menu button link:
    <span class="fa fa-bars" aria-hidden="true"></span>

  • Thanks Szymon. Any chance this might be an option in the module someday?
  • We will consider it. Cheers.
